Daniel and I met in 2021 while working together at The Staaten. At first, we were barely friends, but over time we became inseparable. Whether we were working a busy night together, going out with mutual friends, or just keeping each other company at work, we always seemed to gravitate toward one another. Somewhere along the way, friendship slowly turned into something more, and I found myself constantly wondering if he was ever going to ask me out.

After nearly giving up hope more than once, Daniel finally asked me out in November of 2023 after work one night in the parking lot at The Staaten. My car had been making a strange noise, and after asking him to check it for me, he nervously came back over and finally asked me out, with a little encouragement from his friend (about time!).

From coworkers, to friends, to forever, we are so grateful for every moment that led us here and cannot wait for a lifetime together.

She was always working the door as a hostess when I came into work, which is something I looked forward to every weekend. Her radiant smile, infectious laugh, kind heart, and beauty made me fall for her more and more after every shift. She would laugh at my stupid jokes as I wouldn’t stop annoying her as she worked. One thing led to another and our friendship grew into developing feelings for her. Worried she’d say no, I put off asking her on a date for months. Eventually I built up the courage to nervously ask her to dinner after a shift (still didn’t figure out the noise from her car like I said I would, though knowing her, she probably just needed gas). From that first date to now, with a crazy dog added in the mix, we've built a beautiful life together, and I can't wait to see what the future has in store for us. I can’t imagine a life without her, and wouldn’t ever want to. She is my one true love.
